After Brand was founded in Lippstadt in 1922, its headquarter were relocated to Anröchte in 1972. The site in Erwitte was acquired in 2005.

In addition to the central administration, sales and quality management, Anröchte is also home to the central development department of the brandgroup, as well as the production for all three divisions. The production in Erwitte specialises in automotive industry applications.

Brand supplies customers in a wide range of industries worldwide, in particular the automotive, door industry, home and electronic appliances, agricultural, electrical and hardware industries and also apparatus and mechanical engineering.

The company Märkisches Federnwerk in Lüdenscheid was acquired in 1984.

In addition to producing a wide variety of spring types, Märkisches Federnwerk also supplies complete spring assemblies. It also develops and manufactures customer-specific special solutions.

Other industries are also supplied in addition to customers in the automotive industry that are involved in a wide variety of applications such as seating, pedals, brakes and safety systems. In addition to home appliances, agriculture, construction and the furniture industry, these also include mechanical engineering applications for rail transport, as well as fittings and valves.

Brand Springs Poland (BSP) was founded in October 2006 as the brandgroup's first location in Eastern Europe.

BSP focuses on sales and service activities close to the customer. Within the brandgroup, BSP is the production, assembly and logistics location for our customers in Eastern Europe.

BSP customers can be found particularly in the automotive, home appliances and the door industries.

brandgroup Precision Parts (Taicang) was founded in 2012.

BKL is a joint venture between the brandgroup and the Kern-Liebers Group.

Taicang is the home of our production and sales for the Asian automotive industry.

Brand Kern-Liebers Precision Parts (Querétaro) was founded in 2015.

BKL is a joint venture between the brandgroup and the Kern-Liebers Group.

Querétaro is the home of our production and sales for the North American automotive industry.

As a manufacturer of high-purity and customized shape memory alloys (SMA), Ingpuls Dynamics produces SMA actuators, assemblies and systems for various industries. The joint venture is the logical consequence of many years of cooperation between the companies on a wide variety of levels. With the joint venture, we are pursuing the goal of creating added value for our joint customers by significantly reducing the complexity of using SMA on the customer side through vertical integration in the joint venture. Efforts are thus shifted to where the relevant competencies already lie today, freeing up valuable resources on the customer side to enable the transformation into a new industrial age.
